FOCUS

We are surrounded with distractions from the time our feet hit the floor to the time our head hits the pillow.

Computers, laptops, cell phones, internet, video games, television, email, text messaging, local news, national news, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.

There is nothing wrong with these multi-media mediums.   However, you need an intense focus in a world that can overwhelm and engulf you with its distractions before you even start your day.  Did I mention, your job, immediate family members, and extended family members?  Who can keep up with all this without an intense focus?

I have an acronym that will help you discover a focus you desperately need to grow in our worried-filled, crazed world.

F

Fearless

Be Fearless about keeping the distractions to a minimum.  Approach everyday of your life with an unflinching courage and resilience to keep your life de-cluttered.  Clutter hinders clarity.

O

Optimistic

An intense focus cannot occur with optimism.  Every day comes with its own set of challenges.  Conquer every day with confidence, hope, and a positive attitude.  Regardless of your mental resolve, stress-filled days are coming.  Why not open your mind to the fact that you can conquer all of your days?

C

Centeredness

Balance is the key!  This may be the most important point.  Centeredness is needed when setting daily or life priorities.  One priority should be to create balance in all areas of your life.  The more centered your life becomes, the less bumpy, rough, rugged your life experiences will be.  This allows you to position yourself for favorable outcomes.

U

Uncanny

Your focus needs to be uncanny.  Uncanny is defined as surpassing the ordinary or normal.  BE WEIRD!  To avoid being sucked into the distractions mentioned earlier, an uncanny focus is needed.  Many people and things will attempt to distract you, involuntarily.  However, be uncanny about choosing those things and people you decide to bring into your life.

S

Simplicity

At the end of the day, we just need to get back to the basics.  A big part of ridding ourselves of various distractions is simplicityLiving with as little as possible to improve clarity of our lives.  Some distractions are necessary, but not all.

Discover a new FOCUS and watch a transformation happen in your life.
