LEADERS AREN’T AFRAID TO ASK
When was the last time you asked for help? Do you accept the fact that you need help?
Leaders are great about recruiting the right people to help them in their journey to make a difference in our world. It is great to ask the right people for help, but how many times are you asking God for help? In your priority list of asking for help, your list should look something like this this:
1. God
2. Family
3. Friends
For some people, friends may be number two on the list. The point of the list is to make sure you understand everyday to put God as number one when it comes to asking for help.
Who do you go to when you are in trouble?
One of the reasons why you should go to God and express your requests is because of His promises. The greatest leaders aren’t afraid to ask God for help. You don’t have to walk around with a Bible under your arm, but you will need to talk to Him.
Matthew 7:7 says,
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
What is it that you want out of life? Are you asking the right people? More importantly, are you asking God?
If you want a successful plan to improve your leadership, ask GOD! I dare you to ask Him for your heart’s desires and see if He doesn’t answer you in His timing. Just be patient and keep asking, your doors of opportunity will open.
I want to hear from you and hear your story. How have you asked God for help? Please share how he answered your request. Leave a comment below or on my Facebook or Twitter handle. Regardless whether you leave a moment or not, next time you are in need first ask God.
Peace and Prosperity,
