2 Reasons Why The Truth Is Better Than A Lie

2-Reasons-Why-The-Truth-Is-Better-Than-A-Lie.001.jpg

It’s not hard to figure out the difference between a right and a wrong, just as it’s easy to distinguish the truth from a lie.  We hear people say all the time, “I told a little white lie.”  Well, I would agree with this to a certain extent.

Are there differences between lies?

Why yes!  There are black lies, white lies, small lies, big lies, short lies, long lies, children lies, adult lies, work lies, school lies, church lies, home lies, verbal lies, nonverbal lies, etc.

As you may know, sometimes it’s what we don’t say that can be a lie.

Regardless of what kind of lie we are talking about, at the end of the day a lie is a lie.

Anything besides the truth is a LIE.

Let’s talk about why we need to tell the truth.

2 Reasons Why The Truth Is Better Than A Lie

1. Reliability

When you tell the truth, people believe you are a reliable source of information.  Without a doubt, they know you will consistently tell the truth.

The key word is consistency.

However, you should know, all it takes is one lie to discredit your reliability.  Once you have undermined your reliability, you will always be suspicious to the person or people you lied to.

Life’s not over when this happens, but it will take time to regain your reliability.

Why?  Because reliability is dependent on time and consistency.

2. Validity

When a person lies, that person’s validity escapes them.  Validity deals with factualness or soundness of what we say or do.

If we were to walk outside and the sky is an obvious clear, beautiful blue sky.

What would happen, if seconds later I tried to convince you the sky was a beautiful orange hue?

First, you would ask me, “Are you color blind?”  Second, you would say, “All jokes aside, do you seriously believe the sky is orange?”

If I were not color blind, you would question my validity especially when it comes to differentiating colors.  And you would possibly question my factualness with other things.

I know this is a basic illustration, but the same principle even applies to the highest form of leadership.

Once we lose either reliability or validity, we then cause others to question our credibility.

Low credibility causes serious trust issues in any relationship.

These rules apply personally and professionally.

If you are a business owner, work supervisor, church clergyman, speaker, writer, entertainer, politician, or any other leader in an industry; credibility will make or break your leadership.

Truth is a life builder, but lying is a life destroyer.

B.E.Hall

Action: Tell the truth and let people decide what they would like to do with the truth.  Whatever you do, don’t lie and have people believing a lie.  It never ends well.

Question(s): Would you rather be told a lie or the truth? (Please leave a comment below.)

Merciful March

Merciful-March.001.jpg

March is here, but where is your compassion?

As long as we have life, we should demonstrate a compassionate spirit.

Mercy is defined as compassionate or kindly forbearance shown towards an offender.

To have a successful and meaningful 2014, you will need a merciful heart.

We shouldn't possess a merciful heart only during the month of March, but it should be daily challenge.

3 Reasons To Be Merciful

1. Jesus was merciful

One primary reason for us to embrace the spirit of being merciful should be because our Savior, Jesus Christ, gives it to us.

Knowing how much our Savior sacrificed for us when we didn’t deserve it is quite a humbling thought.  That thought alone should move us to be merciful with others.

2. Free our minds

Without the presence of mercy, negative emotions will control our minds.  Being merciful to those who may not deserve it releases our minds from any bitterness and resentment.

Without a doubt, these emotions will hinder us from being productive in 2014; so rid yourself of these emotions by being merciful.

3. We reap what we sow

Be merciful to others because someone was merciful to you.

If you reflect on your life, you will discover several experiences in which you did not receive what you really deserved because someone was merciful to you.

Sometimes we forget, but it is now time to pay it forward.

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”

Matthew 5:7

Once we possess a heart full of mercy, it will be a natural phenomenal for you attract the mercy of others because of your humility.

Action: Find a way to be merciful in a situation you usually wouldn’t show mercy.  Then, document your experience and watch how it positively affects your life.

Question(s): Do you remember a unique life experience when you received mercy, but you knew you deserved justice? (Please leave a comment below.)

When Life Gives You M and M’s

When-Life-Gives-You-M-and-M’s.jpg

You’ve heard the saying, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Well, what do you do when life gives you M and M’s?

You may think for today’s topic, we are talking about perspective or you may be thinking we are going to talk about the always favorite, never gets old, and yes oh yes, CHOCOLATE Candies – M&Ms (peanut M&Ms; even better, Peanut Butter M&Ms = YUM!), but not today.

So let’s get back to the question at hand – what do you do when life gives you M and M’s?

You Make Memories of course!

Nowadays, pretty much everyone has a mobile phone with a camera to take photos and capture video footage.  I absolutely love my camera phone, but I am more attached to my DSLR Camera.  My camera is a must-go-everywhere passenger!  It must always be fully charged with memory card space available!

I stand on guard, listening and ready to press the red camera phone button or the camera button because I am so passionate about M and M’s!  Just this morning, my son sang a song to the beat of his own tune and his heart’s delight, with only the words of “Thank You Jesus!”

Not only did I press that red button on my phone to record his singing voice, but that memory also made me reflect on his very simple song!  That was my M and M moment for the morning.

The importance of M and M’s is especially important for you, but even more so for your children.  Making memories with your children, family, and friends allows for mental pictures to be captured and reserved in the inner workings of your brain for perfect timing recall.

Think about a time when you reflected on a mental picture that came into your mind and made you smile or even chuckle.  Think about how you felt!

M and M’s (Making Memories) are a blessing!

When you scroll through old pictures and captured videos; you go to another place / another zone.  I recall one time going through an old box and in it, I found childhood, high school, and college pictures, and the next thing I know, an hour had passed, just because my heart smiled as I recalled the memories made in each picture!

You have the opportunity to make memories everywhere you go; everyday of your life; every moment of your life!  So invest in M and M’s going forward.  Look around and observe and listen for moments to indulge in M and M’s!

One of my absolute favorite M and M moments – Dancing In the Rain!

(In regards to the reference to “M&Ms in this blog entry; M&Ms does not endorse this website, nor do they endorse the views expressed).

3 Ways To Live A Productive Life

3-Ways-To-Live-A-Productive-Life.001.jpg

"A meaningful life is a productive life."

B.E.Hall

I don’t think anyone would turn down any opportunity to make their life more productive.

Our world has changed, which I know does not shock you.

We face more distractions than ever; expectations are higher; and everyone has an agenda for our lives.

With this in mind, we have to be on top of our game.  Not for others, but for ourselves.

So the first question is, “What is a productive life?”

A productive life can be defined as moving forward, which brings us to the second and most important question.

“How do I live a productive life?”

3 Ways to Live a Productive Life

1. Learn From Your Mistakes

Every mistake we make is an opportunity for growth.  We never stop learning. As we grow and develop we should not make the same mistakes or make less of them.

2. Be Decisive

When you are decisive, you must also be smart.  Be purposeful.  Be intentional.  Take enough time to make a sensible decision. But at some point, you must make a decision and stick to it.

3. Do Your Best

You have learned from your mistakes and you have been decisive, but now it’s time to leave it all on the table.

These 3 ways will position you for optimal success, therefore leading to a productive life of moving forward.

Action: Before you start your day, take a little time to figure out how you will implement these  3 techniques.  It will cause you to reflect and make great plans.

Question(s): How would you define a productive life? (Please leave a comment below.)

7 Things Christians Shouldn't Do

7-Things-Christians-Shouldnt-Do.001.jpg

“A life lived is better than any word spoken.”

B.E.Hall

It is a blessing to be created by God, but it is an added benefit to be called Christian.

Christian is just a title to show our connection with the wonderful Savior of our world.

It’s a privilege to be in a relationship with Christ, but we should never use our relationship to hurt others.

So, I came up with a list of 7 things Christians shouldn’t do.

7 Things Christians Shouldn’t Do

1. Judge Others

There is a distinct difference in telling the truth and judging.  We all want the truth over a lie.  However, I strongly suggest developing a relationship with a person before speaking some trues to a person and even then we still should speak the truth in love.

There is nothing wrong with telling the truth because speaking the truth is only giving facts.  The one difference with telling the truth and judging is judging causes a person to form an opinion or make a decision about someone.  We should be able to tell the truth, but we shouldn’t view or make anyone feel less valuable.  In God’s eyes, everyone is SPECIAL!

2. Force The Issue

I never been one to force my beliefs on anyone.  Being a Christian is less about what we say and it is more about how we live.  Christians don’t have to tote a Bibles around, preach in the streets, or tell others they are a Christian.  Christians live gracefully with their life and not their mouth.

3. Hide Convictions

As Christians, we should not force our beliefs on anyone, but that does not mean hide our convictions.  We have all seen those people who “claim to be” Christian, but are ashamed to show conviction by living the Christian Life.  It should be very clear what we stand for by our lifestyle.

4. Be In Competition

Christians are never in competition with one another.  We don’t make comparisons or compete because we have a common goal of promoting the name of Christ.

5. Dwell In Insecurity

Insecurity is indicative of lack of confidence or low self-esteem.  We weren’t given the name Christian to live in self-doubt because we were all made out of the image of God, which makes us all beautiful masterpieces.

6. Make Assumptions

Christians are open-minded and never take the stance of assuming, which inevitably leads to judging.  Rather than assuming, instead Christians get to know the truth about people and their various situations.

7. Live Hopelessly

Everyday we are alive, Christians understand the blessing of hope for themselves and others.  There’s always light at the end of the tunnel.

Action: Make sure you never find yourself practicing any of these 7 things.

Question(s): These are 7 things Christians shouldn’t do, but are there any other things Christians should avoid doing? (Please leave a comment below.)

Restrictions of the Mind

Restrictions-of-the-Mind.001.jpg

“The only limits to the possibilities in your life are the buts you use today.”

Les Brown

Make no excuses why you can’t and please don’t support any of your if’s or but’s.

Can you imagine a life without the words can’t, if, or but?

I CAN!

“The key to living a more prosperous life is to remove the restrictions of your mind.”

B.E.Hall

Rather than coming up with reasons why you are unable to do, instead focus on all the reasons why you are able.

Rather than focusing on what you don’t have, instead think about all the things you do have.

Rather than wishing for new friends, instead focus on the positive individuals already in your space.

I believe it is very easy to overlook the very blessings in our possession because of the desire for something else we perceive is better.

I have asked many people what do they want out of life and I have heard many responses.  However, often I have heard people blame external factors for the reason why they don’t have.

The biggest mistake we can make in life is questioning those things in which we do not have any control over, instead of questioning the motives and drives we have within.

Action: At the end of the day, the fact of the matter is you can.  Stop blocking your mind, focus on the resources you have, start working towards your goals, and watch your dreams come true.

Question(s): Are there any other words, phrases, or things that may be a restrictor of the mind? (Please leave a comment below.)

Our Needs in Life

Our-Needs-in-Life.001.jpg

“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’”

Hebrews 13:5

I have many favorite verses in the Bible, but this is definitely high on my list of favorites.

Everyone knows someone who is never quite happy with what they have.  This verse encourages us to stay away from greed and the feeling of never having enough.

So, what do we really need in life?

3 Needs in Life

1. Love

We have all heard songs, books, and poems say, “All we need is love.”  I would strongly agree with this phrase because where would we be without love?

“God is love.” −1 John 4:8

I could imagine my life without God and His beautiful blessings!

2. Hope

Just as love, I couldn’t imagine a life without hope.  Hope is a expectation and/or promise of things to come.  Without hope of brighter days to come, there’s no need to work towards any of our goals or dreams.

3. Encouragement

One of the greatest gifts along with the last two mentioned would be encouragement.  So, we have the love to get our lives started and hope to work towards our goals and dreams.

But, what happens when we fail?  Not only will we need love and hope, we are going to need encouragement.  Encouragement in various ways, but I believe it all comes from God.  However, God may send encouragement in the form of a person, a note, a book, an animal, nature, etc.

Regardless of how it is sent, we need encouragement to keep moving through the failures we will inevitably experience.

All three of these needs can be found in Hebrews 13:5 and are available for all of us.

Action: List what you believe you need out of life and then compare your list to the list above.  See how the 3 Needs in Life will enhance and empower your list.  Discover various ways of meeting these needs in your life.

Question(s)Do you feel there are other important needs in life?  If so, please share them. (Please leave a comment below.)

Waiting For Success

Waiting-For-Success.001.jpg

Some believe success is measured by positions and/or possessions.  However, even in failure,  success can be found if you are able to learn from your mistakes.

I can promise you this, success will not hunt you down and come looking for you.  You will have to pursue it.

So, what is success?

Success is about moving forward!

I think you would agree with me if I said, “We all want to move forward in life.”

Well, what are you waiting on?

Start now living a successful life!

4 Ways To Live A Successful Life

1. Learn from the past.

The only way you can forward through life is by learning what to do and what not to do based off past experiences.

2. Prepare early.

Don’t wait for success to come to you.  It will only cause you either procrastination or regrets.  And I haven’t heard of success being associated with those two words.  You will have to start taking intentional steps in the right direction.

3. Move before you are ready to move (click on link).

If you are waiting for success, know you will be waiting forever.  Do not just merely talk about what you will do, go ahead and get started.

4.  Be Fearless!!! (Click link)

Action: Stop waiting for good things to happen to you and start moving towards a success life with these 4 ways mentioned above.

Question(s):  Other than waiting, what else keeps us from living a successful life?  (Please leave a comment below.)

The 5 Senses of Love

The-5-Senses-of-Love.001.jpg

“Love never fails…And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love.  But the greatest of these is love.”

1 Corinthians 13:8-13

Today is what we call Love Day, better known as Valentine’s Day.

I believe this is a wonderful day because of the wonderful plans men and women across the world make for their significant other.

However, make sure your love is just as expressive the other 364 days out of the year.

There is no doubt, love is the universal language.

All of our 5 senses are quite aware when they have experienced love.

Acts 20:35 in the Bible says, “…It’s better to give than to receive.”

This is especially true when it comes to L-O-V-E.

Many times, we receive whatever we give out.

To be cliche’, “What goes around comes around.”  Better yet, the Bibles talks about a person reaping what he or she has sown in Galatians 6:7-8.

So let’s talk about the 5 senses of love, which should be evident to those who we love dearly and to those who may be just a passerby on the street.

The 5 Senses of Love

1. Sight

You can always see love.  It’s eye contact.  It’s your observance and acknowledgment of negative and positive changes of a person, especially with a friend.  However, be careful with the negative.  Some things are better left unsaid, unless it will harm the other person if you don’t say it.  It’s called TACT.  And I wouldn’t encourage you acknowledging a negative about a person you just met.  You must first develop a relationship.

2. Hearing

Love can be heard.  It’s the tone of your voice.  A great example is the affect of a loving voice with a baby.  Before you even touch a baby, he or she can hear the love you are bring to them.  This applies to any relationship.

3. Taste

A simple way to describe this sense is through food, but it’s also applicable with a kiss.  (Enough said???)  We sometimes forget, the words we use can leave a taste in another persons mouth.  Kind and encouraging words leave positive long lasting impressions, but harsh words can leave behind negative memories.  These negative memories jeopardizes the development of love.

4. Touch

Your friend, wife, and children can tell how happy you are to see them by your handshake, hug, kiss, etc.

5. Smell

Every smell brings about a negative or positive memory, unless it is new.  So, your house, car, food, clothes, body smell, and more is a big part of our smelling sense knowing that love is close.

Action: Let your 5 senses tap into love by giving and receiving to all around you.  Make everyday a love day.

Question(s): If you had choose between love or anything else in this world, which would you choose? (Please leave a comment below.)

Graceful Living

Graceful-Living.001.jpg

"The key to living a happy life is to live a graceful life."

B.E.Hall

Earlier this week, my wife and I were mesmerized watching the figure skating portion of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

Every athlete had a unique performance, but the most impressive thing was each athletes gracefulness on the ice.

I enjoy ice skating, but by no means am I graceful on the ice.  Matter fact, it will probably scare you out of your mind to watch me on the ice because of my awkward, unnatural style of ice skating.

With that said, my wife and I were captivated by these remarkable routines.

Which made me think, "Only if we could live my lives as graceful as these Olympic athletes were skating."

What if we were able to live life with this gracefulness?

We can!

However, we must know graceful living doesn’t come over night.  And there’s a price we must pay, but I is well worth the investment.

Just as Olympic athletes train for many years for one moment, it will take training and conditioning of our mental skills.

Mental skills such as being positive, friendly, humble, unselfish, loving, tactful, peaceful, determined, and more.

These mental skills help us live a graceful life because ultimately our happiness depends on these qualities.

So, what can you do to live a graceful life?

Apply the helpful tips below to any mental skill you may be lacking in and watch how you improve in the various skill sets.

3 Helpful Tips to Live a Graceful Life

1. Proper Preparation

2. Proper Practice

3. Proper Execution

Action: Discover what mental skills you may need to work on to bring you happiness and apply these 3 tips.  Then, continue to tweak  and adjust the tips to receive consistent improvement in those areas.

Question(s): How would describe graceful living? Have you already applied these tips in some form or fashion in your life? (Please leave a comment below.)

Climb Your Mountain

Climb-Your-Mountain.001.jpg

“It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves.”

Edmund Hillary

Are there any mountains in your life?

When you come to a mountain, what is the first thing you do?

The first thing I do is assess the height of the mountain.

If you are anything like me, you would agree that this can be discouraging if you feel that the mountain is too high.

Sometimes we just need to climb the mountain!

Stop worrying about the height, width, and challenges of the mountain and start climbing.

You are prepared for this moment because you already have the necessary resources.

Couple your resourcefulness with determination and make the climb.

Don’t delay any further.  Conquer every mountain in your life.

And when you get to the tiptop of that mountain, look down to see what you have conquered and then assess how high it is.

It is then you will discover a greater mental capacity from an increase in stamina, discipline, strength, and focus from your climb.

Not only will you triumph over your mountain, but you will do it with great power every time, thereafter.

Action: Get to the heart of your issue.  Confront any fears.  List pro’s and con’s to climbing your mountain.  Start climbing now.

Question(s): How do you feel about your mountains? What can you learn from your mountain? (Please leave a comment below.)

Listen To Your Heart

Listen-To-Your-Heart.001.jpg

“All our words are but crumbs that fall down from the feast of the mind.”

-Khalil Gibran

Have you ever noticed that what you speak usually becomes an reality?

How does that happen?

My mother has always said, “What’s in your heart will come out of your mouth.”

The words we speak actually come from specific intentional actions in our minds.  It is these intentional actions in our minds that lead us to reality of our words, but more specifically our thoughts.

Just know, what we put in our heart eventually leads everything else we are about.

So, if you ever have any questions regarding your actions, just listen to your heart.

“You change your life by changing your heart.”

-Max Lucado

Action: Fill your mind with positive thoughts and plans.  Then, listen and follow your heart.

Fearless February

Fearless-February-2014.001.001.jpg

“The eagle has no fear of adversity.  We need to be like the eagle and have a fearless spirit of a conquerer!”

-Joyce Meyer

Are you afraid of anything?

Everyone has fears, but we must conquer our fears.

The baby eagle has no fears before his mother pushes him out of the nest.

It is then, the baby eagle has two choices.  The baby eagle can fly or die.

We have jumpstarted our 2014 in January, now it’s time to live a Fearless February.

We all have a decision to make.

Regarding the month of February, will we fly or die?

If you think too long, March will be here before you are able to make a decision.

Don’t wait, start today living a Fearless February!

Fearless doesn’t mean you are untouchable, invincible, indestructible, or unbeatable.

Contrary to popular beliefs, it makes you more vulnerable.

You may disagree, but let me share with you what it means to be fearless.

Being fearless has everything to do with being courageous.

You may be afraid, but courage will always take you pass fear.

Go beyond your fears the month of February and accomplish your goals.

“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.”

-Mark Twain

Action: Write down one fear that may hold you back from meeting your goals in February and take courage to overcome it.

Question(s): How will you define your February? (Please leave a comment below.)

Move Before You're Ready

Move-Before-Youre-Ready.001.jpg

“Start where you are.  Use what you have.  Do what you can.”

~ Arthur Ashe

How many times have we said or heard, “I will start __(you fill in the blank)__ when the time is right.”

One month of 2014 is practically gone.

Have you met any of your January goals?

I hope you are on track to meet all your monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.

Regardless of whether you are or not, keep moving forward.

The time will never be right, so move before you’re ready.

What is it you would like to accomplish?

Is it developing a better relationship with our Father God?  Is it having a more servant heart?

Would you like to be married or do you need a better marriage?  Is it having a child?  Is it renewing a friendship?  Is it reaching out to a child you haven’t spoken to in a while?

How about your professional career?  Is it being better at your current job position?  Is it starting a new job?  Is it starting your own business?

What is IT?

Just know, the time will never be right!

I’m not suggesting for you to make an ill-advised decision, but you can’t wait forever to make a decision.

If you think about most card or board games, you only have a certain amount of time to make a decision before you lose your turn.

The only difference is life’s not a game and you don’t get several turns.  Some opportunities only around come once.  Other opportunities may take a while to come back around, if it ever presents itself again.

So, Move Before You’re Ready!

4 Reasons Why You Should Move Before You’re Ready

1. Passion and excitement for the opportunity.

2. There will never be a right time.

3. Progress your life.

Everyone Has A Song

Everyone-Has-A-Song.001.jpg

“Life is one grand, sweet song, so start the music.”

~ Ronald Reagan

Have you noticed that most, if not all birds have a song to sing?

Birds sing for several reasons, but all reasons are for communication purposes.  Their communication goes beyond their audio capabilities.  They also communicate through visual signals.

These thoughts are the basis of our blog dialogue today.

As humans, we are like birds.

How?

We all have a unique song to sing.

Each of our songs are very different, but they are our songs to sing.  Sing your song proudly because no one else will be able to sing your song.

So, what’s stoping you from singing your song?

Let people know how valuable you are by discovering and singing your song.

The last thing we need is someone attempting to sing someone else’s life story.

Be original.  Be yourself.

You will find this uniqueness will place you in successful situations personally and professionally.

Action: Start singing your song, but also listen to songs others are singing.

Question(s): What’s your song? (Please leave a comment below.)

Give Your Life P.O.P.

P.O.P.001.jpg

“I try to look on all the great things God’s done, and not focus on the negative.  It’s a perspective.”

~Joel Osteen

Everyone could use P.O.P. in their life.  P.O.P. stands for Power of Perspective.

Believe or not, perspective begins within.

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right.”

~Henry Ford

Everything is all about you point of view.

“There is nothing insignificant in the world.  It all depends on the point of view.”

~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

How do you view the world?

“Look and think before opening the shutter.  The heart and mind are true lens of the camera.”

~Yousuf Karsh

“Winners have the ability to step back from the canvas of their lives like an artist gaining perspective.  They make their lives a work of art - an individual masterpiece.”

~Denis Waitley

Action: Everyday, take a challenging situation and focus on the positives instead of the negative.

Make It Count

Make-It-Count-1.22.14.jpg

“Life loves the liver of it.”

~Maya Angelou

It’s easy to look to the past and future, but what about the here and now.

We learn from past mistakes and are hopeful about future achievements, but we should never miss out on the gift of the present.

3 Ways To Make It Count

1. Slow Down

Contrary to popular belief, you should take your time and savor the moment.

Many businesses pride themselves on having fast and quick customer service.  Fast response time is great, but how long do most businesses spend with the customer?

If you were requiring medical assistance, would you like a physician who spends time listening and answering your questions?  Or would you prefer a physician who is in and out if your room leaving you with questions?

In any area of our lives, we need to slow down and make every moment count.

2. Be Alert

Slowing down permits us to be alert.

Why should we be alert?

To make every moment count, we must be alert so we can survey and take advantage of our various opportunities to progress.

3. Live In The Moment (Must I say more for this point?)

Whatever you do, make the best of each situation and make it count.

Action: Follow the 3 ways to make every moment count.

Question(s): Have you fully capitalized on your present? (Please leave a comment below.)

You Have A Special Gift

YOU-Have-A-Special-Gift-01.20.14.jpg

“Looking back you realize that a very special person passed briefly through your life - and it was you.  It is not too late to find that person again.”

~ Robert Brault

Have you ever seen a Ladybird, lady cow, or a lady beetle?  These are just several names to describe ladybugs.

Ladybugs are unique.  Did you know not all ladybugs are “ladies?”  There are male and female ladybugs.  I think the most familiar thought we all have regarding ladybugs is the red color dome-shaped bodies with black spots.  However, did you know that ladybugs can be red, yellow, or orange with black, white, or yellow spots.  Once you see one, you will probably see others.  This may cause people to dislike the ladybug.

Unless you have studied the ladybug species, the facts above are probably the only facts you are familiar with.  But, the ladybug has more value.

Then and even now, some gardeners and farmers consider the lady to be a miracle from God.

Why?

Maybe, because of the most interesting fact about ladybugs.  The gardeners and farmers think they are miracles because ladybugs save their livelihoods by eating insects that damage their vegetative crops.

How does this apply to you and I?

When we look closely at our lives, we will discover individual or multiple gifts.  There are many things you may be good at, but at least one of your gifts will be a blessing to someone else.

Whatever you do, stay true to gifts and the weirdness you were created with.

Just as ladybugs are miracles to farmers and gardeners, you too are a miracle to someone else.  If you don’t think so, I know at least two parties that would disagree with you.  One, would be our Creator who doesn’t create junk.  Second, would be you, if you look deep within and listen to your inner weird voice.

What do you have to lose by discovering your special gift?  Who can stop you from discovering this gift?  Lastly, who can stop you from utilizing this gift to benefit our beautiful world and yourself?

You have a special gift!

Action: Sit down and take some time to think about those things you are really good at doing.  After you discover those things, write them down and design a plan to develop them.

Question(s): What is your special gift? (Please leave a comment below.)
