TRANSFORM YOUR MIND
/Many of us have a specific routine we are use to everyday. What if something happened casing your routine to change? Better yet, what if your success is being hindered by your routine?
We all are creatures of habit. Anytime anything changes, it can be a big deal.
What do you do when you meet change?
Do you run from change? Do you accept change? Do you ignore change? How do you handle change?
You may not do these things literally, but it very well could happen. Our actions are a great gauge to figure out how we handle change. We think, say, and behave based off of our convictions.
There are several reasons why transforming your mind is a good thing, but here are two good reasons.
1. Change is inescapable. There are some things in this life you can avoid, but change isn’t one. Whether you change or not, people and things around you will. If you woke up thinking today was going to be like every other day, you probably missed out many opportunities to be successful.
2. Change is necessary. What does water, oxygen, shelter, and sleep all have in common? They are all necessities. Just as these things aforementioned are necessities to our physical bodies, change is a necessity to our mentality. It is change that gives us personal growth, endless opportunities, and new beginnings. We all need change. More than anything, change give us hope and there is nothing like hope.
I want to end with one of my favorite scriptures, which speaks about the importance of change. Romans 12:2 says,
“Do not conform ay longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
