WASTE NO TIME
/“A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life.” ~Charles Darwin
Do you have any regrets? Are you actually enjoying life? Where do you see yourself in one year? Five years? Ten Years?
Just remember, life stops for no one. Whether we enjoy life or not, it will still go on without us.
Life is a great teacher. Life’s lessons usually come when you least expect it and in an unconventional ways.
One of the many ways life has decided to share lessons with me is through parenting. I have three spirit-filled boys who have greatly blessed me ever since their arrival to this Earth.
Frequently, my wife and I have to remind our boys of this phrase - “Don’t rush life.” Like us all, they get excited about future fun events.
Are you rushing your life away?
I hope you are enjoying everyday. I know that some days are better than others, but appreciate and make the most of everyday.
When the weekend has come to an end and it can be hard appreciating that it is Monday. I have heard some people looking forward to weekend when it is only Monday.
I have been guilty of this many times. It’s no secret that we look forward to and enjoy weekends, holidays, vacations, or any other special dates.
But why only enjoy these days?
Make the most of every day.
How to Make the Most of Your Day
1. Live in the Moment.
Do you take advantage of every moment of your day? There is a Latin aphorism, Carpe Diem. Carpe Diem is translated into “seize the day.” Don’t worry about the past or look to the future, enjoy the blessing of today. Enjoying the gift of the present will take care of everything else.
2. Learn from the Tough Days.
How do you handle tough days? Discover what made the tough days difficult. Once we figure out what made our tough days a challenge, then we will have an opportunity to change our tough day into better days.
3. Love Your Calling.
Do you know your calling? You have been gifted with a specific calling. No one has the same calling, but it is important that we understand our specific calling. When we act on the calling we were created with, it allows us to capitalize on the various opportunities to make our day the very best it can be.
Make the most of today. Don’t rush your life away by wishing for the weekend and other special days. Enjoy the here and now and make the most of every day you are blessed to see. This perspective will bring great success to you life.
